i can’t believe it is almost the end of september! when i was teaching summer camp, i thought it would never end, and here it is: summer well over and i hardly believe it. i did love teaching camp, i must say. we had all sorts of adventures. mine mostly involved burning myself with the hot glue gun. did you know that a low temp. hot glue gun is still REALLY hot? well, it is. don’t attempt to discern the difference between hot glue and low temp, as it will not pay in the end. just trust me on this.
in other news, i am making stuff like crazy for my upcoming etsy shop. i plan to launch it on the 26th, and have been toiling away in my studio, sewing dolls, birds, and some other little somethings that i am still putting the finishing touches on……. blue hair up there is one of my dolls. is she not the cutest? the dolls i’ve been making are pretty labor intensive, but i think they have the best personalities because of it.

Hey Sarah,
I met a puppeteer up at the playground and she said that she knew you and to tell you Hi, so Heidi the puppeteer says Hi and that she would love to talk shop with you soon.

I don’t think Jessica has gotten anything I’ve written to her, and I’m sorry to write this in your comments; but I’ve really wanted to get word to her that Lucky passed away in October and how very sorry I am.

If you respond, would you tell me the bookstore where you and Jessica met?

A perfect needle I found that complimented the project is the
Piecemaker Tapestry Needle made in Japan. Thank you!

hi sarah,
i met you a couple times at the Vis Arts Center, and i saw your stuff at the Bizarre Market at Chop Suey (i also have art up there). your stuff is amazing! i’m definitely buying a paper fairy. i’m not usually into fairies, but yours are so delightful and i love how every one is different. i think your etsy shop will be a hit!
